Across seven core-zone safaris you will learn camera settings for fast, unpredictable jungle light, how to read tiger behaviour and anticipate the moment, composition in dense sal forest, and a full editing workflow in the evenings.

About

Bandhavgarh, in Madhya Pradesh, is a compact reserve with a formidable reputation for tigers. Its core tourism area splits into three zones — Tala, Magadhi and Khitauli — and a landscape of meadows, sal forest, cliffs and waterholes gives varied, photogenic backdrops rather than flat grassland. Because the park is small and the tiger population dense, encounters can be intimate and repeatable across a multi-day trip. November is a beautiful time to visit: the forest is still green after the monsoon, temperatures are pleasant, crowds are lighter, and the soft early-season light is ideal for a workshop-paced trip where you build skills as much as chase a single sighting. Zones are allotted by the forest department rather than chosen, which is exactly why this trip is built around seven safaris — more drives across more days give you more chances for the light, the pose and a strong Tala or Magadhi zone to line up.

Hi, I'm Sreejith. I'll be with you throughout this mentorship — helping you master camera settings, composition, wildlife behaviour and post-processing. My goal isn't just to help you photograph wildlife; it's to help you become a better wildlife photographer, and to leave with images you're genuinely proud of.

Is this tour suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. This is a hands-on mentorship built for beginners and enthusiasts alike. You don't need prior experience — if you can bring your camera and your curiosity, I'll guide you through settings, composition and reading wildlife behaviour in the field.

What camera gear do I need?

A DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens (roughly 200mm and above; a 100–400mm is ideal) covers most situations. If you're unsure what to bring or want to rent something, message me before the trip and I'll help you choose.

How physically demanding is it?

It's comfortable for most fitness levels. Most photography happens from the safari vehicle during game drives, so there's no long trekking involved. Expect early starts to catch the best light — that's the main demand.

What's included in the price?

Accommodation, meals, in-park transport, expert guiding, park and conservancy fees, and daily photography mentoring with personal image review. See the "Includes" section above for the full list. International flights, visa and travel insurance are not included.

Can I get a private room?

Yes. Rooms are shared by default, but a private/single room (if available) can be booked for a 10% supplement — just select it when you book.

How do I reserve my place and pay?

You can secure your spot online with a 25% deposit and pay the balance before the tour. Paying the full amount upfront is also available at checkout. Payments are handled through a secure gateway.

How big is the group?

Deliberately small. Keeping the group tight means everyone gets genuine personal mentoring, a clear line of sight at every sighting, and room to work — not a crowded bus.
